We need an experienced Contract Administrator at the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). This role supports the planning, award, administration, and closeout of contracts and task orders under the Blue UAS Cleared List Program, which manages the vetting and approval of commercial drone systems for military and government use. In this role, you will assist with acquisition strategies, market research, and solicitation packages, perform price and cost analyses, support post award contract administration, and maintain audit ready acquisition documentation and contract files. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the Government in the planning, award, administration, and closeout of contracts, task orders, and other acquisition instruments
- Provides acquisition planning and contract administration support throughout the acquisition lifecycle, including acquisition strategies, market research, and procurement planning
- Assists in preparing solicitation packages, developing acquisition documentation, reviewing contractor proposals, and performing price and cost analyses
- Supports post award contract administration activities, including preparing contract modifications, tracking contract deliverables and milestones, and assisting with contract closeout activities
- Maintains acquisition documentation, contract files, procurement trackers, and milestone schedules to support regulatory compliance and audit readiness
- Provides acquisition advisory support by researching applicable acquisition laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Prepares acquisition reports, briefings, procurement metrics, and data calls supporting Government leadership and program management
- Coordinates acquisition activities with Government contracting personnel, requiring activities, technical personnel, legal counsel, and financial management personnel
BACKGROUND/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (Business Administration or related degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of professional Government contracting experience required (10 years highly preferred), showing progressive responsibility across the acquisition lifecycle
- Deep familiarity with federal acquisition regulations and guidelines, with a strong preference for experience navigating the FAR/RFO and supplements (i.e., DFARS/R-DFARS)
- Demonstrated experience in pre award and post award contract administration, including preparing solicitation packages, conducting price/cost analysis, drafting contract modifications, and managing formal closeouts
- Proven ability to establish and maintain highly organized, audit ready official contract files, records, and correspondence logs in accordance with federal records management standards

CLEARANCE
- Active or interim DoW security clearance; favorably adjudicated Tier 3 background investigation required
- Must be a US Citizen

COMPENSATION
- Salary range: $105,000 – $150,000
