ROLE
We need an experienced Document Scanning Specialist to support the IRS Criminal Investigation Division’s Frivolous Return Program (FRP). The FRP identifies and addresses taxpayers who use frivolous arguments to avoid tax obligations. In this role, you will provide on-site scanning, digitization, and analytical support to modernize FRP document processing. Tasks include using industrial-grade scanners, preparing documents for upload to IRS platforms, and performing quality control checks. This is a full-time opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare documents for processing in the industrial grade scanners.
- Utilize the industrial grade scanners to digitize paper documents.
- Perform file manipulations on scanned image files.
- Prepare and transship scanned image files for upload to AI platform.
- Complete quality checks and validate proper determinations were made on processed products.
- Prepare and disseminate paper documents based on determinations.
- Ability to adapt to any potential changes in process, procedures, etc. to ensure efficiency.
- Attend meeting(s) to discuss projects and process improvements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Five (5) years of directly relevant experience supporting position responsibilities.
EDUCATION
- Undergraduate degree - preferred

- U.S. citizenship is required since this role supports the U.S. Federal government
- Must be eligible to obtain High-Risk Public Trust
