Other Considerations: applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Individual’s primary workstation is in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate. Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the development of processes or procedures as needed. Collaborate with the Government to resolve functional or technical work problems not covered by procedures or policies to support matters that may affect operations.
- Provide day-to-day operations support for staff comprised with military, civilian, public health service, and contract support personnel.
- Liaises with program management offices and branches – supports communication efforts, internally / externally.
- Track progress of initiatives through the development of submitted work plans.
- Gather, investigate research, analyze, and act on information affecting intradepartmental or interdepartmental operations.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience.
- Familiarity of the DoD and the Defense Health Agency is highly desired.
- Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex, and inter-related project tasks.
- Manages teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
- Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization.
- Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items. Ensures conformance with program task schedules.
REQUIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
