Information Technology Systems Architect
ROLE
We seek an experienced Systems Architect to support configuration, administration, and environment maintenance for the IRS OpenText Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) Tool. This position plays a critical role in ensuring seamless integration between legacy and next-gen systems (e.g., IRWORKS, BEARS, FMS), driving application stability, and preparing for the eventual migration to ServiceNow. RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and manage application environments for the PPM tool (v9.63 to v10.x), including disaster recovery and testing instances.
Support the integration of systems like BEARS, IRWORKS, EDM, and FMS into PPM modules.
Maintain configurations across Oracle 19c, RHEL8, Microsoft IIS 10, and SAP Business Objects.
Enable API development for business process automation and web service integrations.
Oversee system performance tuning, patch management, and security compliance (FISMA, NIST).
Guide the implementation of modern frameworks such as ITILv4, COBIT 5, and DAMA DMBOK2.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Seven (7) years of technical experience, in the Information Technology field
Proven experience in configuration, maintenance, and administration of an application
Experience in collaborating with external teams and maintenance of multiple application environments.
Understanding of modern software platforms, including ServiceNow
Proficiency in data migration strategies, ensuring interoperability between legacy systems and modern platforms
Proficiency in database design and API integration
Experience in system performance optimization and scalability planning.
EDUCATION
BA/BS degree in Information Technology (IT) related field (i.e., Computer Science).
