ROLE
We need an experienced Supply Technician at The Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC). The Naval Dosimetry Center (NDC) is the U.S. Navy's hub for measuring radiation exposure among servicemembers operating nuclear-powered vessels. As the center of excellence for radiation protection, NDC provides global dosimetry processing, consultation, and exposure tracking to ensure the health and readiness of Navy and Marine Corps personnel. In this role, you will support shipment coordination, inventory management, and records management activities. You'll process work orders, create digital shipment records, coordinate Government-owned equipment, and collaborate across teams to ensure accurate data tracking and smooth day-to-day supply operations. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with shipment coordination of audiometry equipment and related supplies.
- Support inventory management activities by updating and maintaining inventory records using organization-approved systems.
- Request vendor quotations and compile pricing information for Government consideration.
- Assist with records management activities by organizing and maintaining files in accordance with established file plans.
- Assist with documentation and coordination of Government-owned equipment issued on a temporary loan basis.
- Assist with processing incoming work orders and entering data into designated tracking systems.
- Manage items rejected by automated sorting and shipping systems and implement corrective measures.
- Create digital records for each shipment, including relevant tracking and inventory files.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software technologies as well as local area network systems and configurations, for use in transferring raw data over a local area network.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing Microsoft products (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and related collaboration and reporting tools) to support planning, tracking, coordination, and delivery of work deliverables.

- High School Diploma or higher required

- Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000k commensurate on experience
